Histories of Christianity in our City

is for civic, business, nonprofit, and faith leaders who are committed to a transformative learning community.

Leaders grounded in their Christian faith will inspire and equip future generations by passing down this knowledge, cultivating a sense of continuity, and encouraging the next generation of leaders to learn from the past and shape the future.

Leaders will experience personal and professional growth as they deepen their knowledge of the past and expand their perspective of the histories of Christianity in our City.

Leaders will collaborate to help create a historical and relational transformational community.

The 12 Month Program begins each year with an annual event on the last Friday in August.
Cost to attend the annual event is $99.

There are four Continuing Conversations - 90-minute, in-depth discussions -
hosted on four Fridays from 10:00am - 11:30am between August 2023 - August 2024.

Dates and locations for the Continuing Conversations will be announced on August 25, 2023.
Cost for each Continuing Conversation is $25.

Cost for the entire 12 Month Program including participating in a Leader Match is $200.

Scholarships are available.

What is the format of the 12 Month Program?

The annual event is a gathering the last Friday in August each year. The Continuing Conversations are 4 additional 90 minute in-depth discussions on four Fridays from 10:00am - 11:30am over the next 12 months.

What is the content of the 12 Month Program?

The presentations reflect on past events to consider the diverse histories of Christianity in our city. The Continuing Conversations will provide greater historical context and facilitated conversations throughout the year.

What is the purpose of LEADER MATCH?

LEADER MATCH is a tool to connect diverse leaders within the program. The connection provides the relational context for reflection and exposure to diverse perspectives of the past.

Who is curating the content of the 12 Month Program?

There is a council of diverse leaders who follow the Way of Jesus who are serving as advisory voices on the content, topics, and speakers for each year’s program.
